I enjoyed the movie. Its take on AI, while presented in a clever and interesting fashion, still basically falls into the "AI is gonna actively kill us when it becomes self-aware" trope, which is fine. But really, this is how it's gonna happen:
Generative AI’s environmental costs are soaring — and mostly secret
Ah well, might as well die doing what we love: destroying the planet more quickly in new, innovative ways.
